IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE CHOOSING THE COURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

1) All the payment should be in form of bank Demand Draft favoring “IIAE Dehradun” payable at Dehradun or by cash. Or through Account transfer in IIAE Dehradun’s account number mentioned above. This information is for all the prospective students and parents that no one is allowed to visit the correspondence address for query or counselling without prior appointment on phone. All the counselling and query is only limited to campus address so anyone with any questions or queries are welcome to do so. Application should be sent by the post, In person application forms are only accepted at campus address.
2) IIAE is an approved center of the OTHM Qualifications, UK, and UA (USA). IIAE is listed under the United Nation Office of Outer Space Affair Educational Directory, IIAE is a private institution and is not under regulation of the Government of India. Qualifications offered at IIAE Dehradun are through foreign awarding bodies or through foreign universities for two year and four years courses. Degree is recognized in their parent country and is accepted by the foreign universities in a number of countries. Purpose of choosing qualification is immigration and students who wish to settle abroad with certified degree and Qualifications at IIAE are certified by OTHM Qualifications (UK). However qualifications at IIAE don’t come under purview or accepted by the All India Council for Technical Education or Ministry of HRD or Distance Education Council, UGC or any Government Accrediting agency in India. For equivalency and acceptance purposes students will need to go through equivalency for AIU and follow their norms.
3) All Exam and assessments are conducted at IIAE premises through their respective awarding bodies/University norms and requirements. The certification for study at IIAE is done by the foreign awarding body/ foreign University. Work placement provided by foreign universities is as per their norms and condition and IIAE Dehradun is just a course provider only.
4) Hostel Facilities for single rooms may be made available on request basis and students need to pay directly to hostel owners and IIAE Dehradun has no concern on financial part if a student is living off-campus.
5) Any fee concessions won't be entertained during mid-semester and fee payment on time is necessary, failure to do so will lead to suspension and fine which are mentioned clearly in the fee schedule.
6) If a student is granted conditional admission through seat booking then the seat booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable even if the student chooses not to take the admission. If the admission is taken then seat booking fee will be adjusted towards Academic fee. All the fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable including academic fee (tuition, library and maintenance) and hostel fee. 7) Progression to overseas university or college for second or third year of BEng/BEng (Honors)/BS Degree certification is done by the individual foreign university. IIAE will help the student with all the necessary documents but getting admission at specific university is cause and concern of that university and IIAE is not liable if the student fails to get the admission.
8) IIAE Dehradun is only a course provider and does not provide any degree under its own name or undertaking.
9) Academic, Training, Examination, Registration, Certification and medical fees are not refundable neither adjustable nor transferable. Course fee annually is as such:
Academic Fees (Tuition, Library, Practical and Medical): Rs. 2, 50,000 (Two Lacs Fifty Thousand) annually or Rs. 1, 25,000 (One lac twenty five thousands) per semester.
Hostel fees: Rs.1, 00,000/- per annum.
Certification and graduation fee: Examination, graduation, registration, evaluation and project fees will be charged at the time of graduation which will be approximately Rs. 2,50,000 (Two lacs and fifty thousand only) at the end of two/four years i.e. before graduation.
10) Students gaining the degree by staying outside of India in foreign Countries can apply for equivalency with Government of India equivalency on individual basis. Also the equivalency can be applied by the students to AIU for full time on campus studies overseas as per AIU norms. The student seeking the recognition from Indian government should apply individually as per the norms and conditions as per laid down by the government of India and its equivalency department. The acceptance is up to Govt. Agencies/Universities for equivalency, IIAE Dehradun is nowhere involved in this process. IIAE is not a parameter for equivalency/ recognition procedure. Students have to individually find the recognition from Govt. of India and AIU.
11). All the students who are transferring abroad require to pay the fee individually to the overseas college/university norms which are subject to change as per their requirement or fluctuations in the currency market.
12). IIAE is not an awarding body. It conducts internal assessment and examination to prepare students for their designated final examination which will be conducted by the awarding bodies or authority or the university
13). IIAE prepares the students to progress to overseas universities and acts as a platform and pathway for foreign education through lateral entry into 3rd or 4th year depending upon the score and grades achieved by the student at IIAE Dehradun.
14) Only those students need to apply to IIAE Dehradun, who have strong desire, determination, flair and motivation to gain internationally recognized qualification from a world ranking university; and wish to become self-dependent. IIAE Dehradun takes the full responsibility to develop the skills, ability and adaptability as per the required European Standard of Study. IIAE Dehradun campus is not a world class campus and is located in a semi-urban area close to Jolly-Grant Airport Dehradun because Aeronautical Engineering is a very field oriented job. At this point all the classes and practical training will take place at Jolly Grant Airport campus, even though future projects include moving our theoretical classes in the city of Dehradun with facilities with smart classes and a better modern campus. The address will be shortly displayed. Presently campus is 26 km away from Dehradun city.
15) The Foundation Degree IHD Level 5 qualification completed at IIAE Dehradun is from the Government of the United Kingdom Awarding Body OTHM qualifications and is recognized for jobs and progression to university level in more than 100 countries. Students can continue third year in overseas University/College for B.Eng. (Honors) Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering and can even continue education for Masters. Students who move abroad after studying from IIAE Dehradun get an opportunity to work with top Aircraft Manufacturing companies, Aeronautical and Aerospace Design companies around the globe who provide better job satisfaction and salary. There are a number of benefits which cannot be compared with traditional study as the syllabus is in accordance with western education. Further details can be explained with prior appointment.
16) IIAE Dehradun has its own admission procedure which is based on foreign university pattern and it has nothing to do AIEEE, JEE or any state government entrance examinations.
