About this course
This qualification focusses on developing advanced technical knowledge, practical engineering skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities. This qualification is designed for students progressing toward higher-level engineering roles or preparing for top-up to Level 6 (BEng or equivalent), through lateral entry. This qualification is provided by IIAE in conjunction with OTHM qualifications (UK), which provides final Level 5 certification.

Progress to Level 6 (e.g., BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering)
Apply for Higher/Degree Apprenticeships in Aerospace companies
Prepare for professional registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) or work toward Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status
Program Details
Mode of Study:
Spend two years at IIAE Dehradun in the IHD program in Mechanical Engineering. After successfully completing the qualification, students are eligible for lateral entry into the 3rd or 4th year at a foreign university (UK, USA, Canada, Australia etc.) depending on their requirements. This pathway course enables students to achieve a Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree abroad, including work placements and internships
Eligibility:
Students appearing for or who have passed 10+2 with PCM from ICSE/CBSE/IGCSE/IB/State Board. Students with a Diploma in Engineering with at least 50% marks. Students who haven't taken Mathematics in their science stream can also apply, provided they clear Mathematics through NIOS intermediary.
Fee Details:
Academic fee: 2,00,000 Rupees (Includes tuition, library, practical and maintenance).
Hostel fee: 1,25,000 Rupees (Boarding and Mess).
Fee at International university is dependent on the country and university, could roughly be in between 12-18 lacs per year.
Certification and graduation fee: 2,50,000 Rupees after completion of the course.
